Tonight is your first chance to experience the exciting nightlife that the Spanish are famous for!
Day 2 Pamplona
6 July 2012 (Opening Ceremony)
After breakfast we head into town to get a good position for the huge opening ceremony today. At midday a rocket is fired from the balcony of the Town Hall which signals the start of the San Fermin festivities. Cava (local sparkling wine) is the order of the day – and you may also need a change of clothes after the cascade of sangria, flour, eggs and shaving cream that go hand in hand with the festivities!! The party continues all night, as the locals and visitors continue this huge street party all over town. (B)
Day 3 Pamplona
7 July 2012 (Opening Ceremony)
Today is the first “Running of the Bulls”, a tradition that has endured for centuries. The run is taken very seriously by the participants, and there are official rules of running. This amazing event takes place at 8am each day of the San Fermin festivities, and is followed by a full programme of entertainment all over the town, from street parties like no other to bull fights in the central arena. This afternoon why not relax with some delicious Spanish food and sangria before hitting the streets for an evening in town partying with the Spanish. (B)

This morning is your final opportunity to check out a bull run in town, before we head for our delicious breakfast. It’s then time to say goodbye to new friends and continue on with our travels as your trip finishes today after breakfast. (B)

Join the large crowd gathered to sing "Pobre de Mí, Pobre de Mí, que se han acabado las fiestas, de San Fermín." (poor me, poor me, for the fiesta of San Fermín has come to a close). Afterwards, why not continue partying through the night before the town of Pamplona returns to normal. (B)
