Itinerary

Day 1 Darwin to Kakadu.
Today is all about four-wheel driving as we travel over to Jim Jim Falls. Once there we’ll head on foot to the base of the waterfalls before carrying on to Twin Falls. Try the boat and boardwalk experience before making camp for the night. (L, D)
Day 2 Kakadu to Mary River.
Discover ancient indigenous rock paintings at Ubirr. We’ll then head to Maguk, otherwise known as Barramundi Gorge. Next we’re off to the Mary River Wetlands for a private river cruise. (B, L, D)
Day 3 Mary River to Darwin.
First up is Litchfield National Park then we head into Woolna Country and visit the Limilngan-Wulna people. (B, L, D)
Day 4 Darwin to Katherine Gorge.
We’ll stop at Edith Falls before arriving in Katherine Gorge. (B, L)
Day 5 Katherine Gorge to Tennant Creek.
Meet the locals at the Daly Waters pub before reaching Mataranka. (B, L, D)
Day 6 Tennant Creek to Alice Springs.
This morning we check out the sacred site of the Devils Marbles. From here we stop in at Barrow Creek Pub, home to the historic Telegraph Station. We cross over the Tropic of Capricorn before arriving early evening into Alice Springs. (B, L)
A sleeping bag is required for camping in the Northern Territory. Bring your own or hire one locally for AUD$20.
