Brugge Christmas 2012

Itinerary

DAY 1 London to Brugge, Belgium 

Depart with us early this morning to head to our destination – Brugge! This historic Belgian city has so much to offer including amazing architecture, delicious food and a great festive atmosphere! This afternoon we’ll take it all in on our walking tour, where our expert Topdeck road crew will share with you the sights and sounds of one of Europe’s favourite destinations. This evening it is our first chance to experience the hidden nightlife that Brugge has to offer.

DAY 2 Brugge

Zalig Kerstfeest! See what Father Christmas has left in your stocking this Christmas morning, before your chance to wander through the amazing Brugge Christmas markets, sampling traditional Christmas foods and maybe even some delicious mulled wine. This afternoon is our included Christmas lunch – definitely a Belgian Christmas with a difference! (B, L)

DAY 3 Brussels, Belgium 

Enjoy a day trip by coach today to Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the European Union. The sights are so different to Brugge, and help to give us an understanding of the history of the city. This afternoon is your chance to relax in the centre of this European city - if you’re a seafood fan try one of the city’s famous fish cafes, or if you prefer your refreshments more liquid try one of the hundreds of different beers on offer. We return to Brugge this evening for our final out to toast the memories of the past few days! (B)

DAY 4 Brugge to London, England 

Today we say our sad farewells to Belgium, heading to Calais via a chocolate shop to stock up on delicious Belgian treat, before we catch our ferry to England, where the trip finishes this evening at the Clink Hostel. Upon arrival back in London, we say our fond farewells to our Topdeck companions! (B)
