Day 1 London to Paris, France (option also to join in Paris)

Across the English Channel to Paris where we embark on our city lights tour. (D)

 

Day 2 Paris

Free time to explore Paris, before we join our travelling buddies to sample our delicious Paris Gourmet Picnic beside the Eiffel Tower. An optional River Seine cruise is a great finish to the day. (B,D)

 

Day 3 Paris to Swiss Alps, Switzerland

Gorgeous scenery today as we head to the Swiss Alps and the village of Lauterbrunnen. (B,L,D)

 

Day 4 Swiss Alps

An optional excursion to the summit of the Jungfrau Mountain – the views are stunning! (B,L,D)

 

Day 5 Swiss Alps to French Riviera

Onwards to the home of the rich and famous on the French Riviera. (B,L,D)

 

Day 6 French Riviera

Time for some serious celebrity spotting on the promenades followed by a cool off swim in the Mediterranean. Tonight try our luck at the casinos of Monaco. (B)

 

Day 7 French Riviera to Florence, Italy

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is our first attraction to explore in Italy. Then to Florence – so full of Renaissance treasures it’s known as an outdoor museum. (B,L,D)

 

Day 8 Florence

Our walking tour of Florence with a local guide tells the fascinating stories of this city. There is also time for some of Europe’s finest shopping. (B)

 

Day 9 Florence to Rome

Southwards to the hilltop city of Orvieto before we reach Rome and our walking tour which show us the amazing sights. (B,L)

 

Day 10 Rome

The day is ours to take in such attractions as the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Trevi Fountain. There is also time to visit the Vatican City and its amazing museums. (B,D)

 

Day 11 Rome to Venice

We make tracks for Verona on our way to Venice, one of the highlights of our European trip. (B,L,D)

 

Day 12 Venice

A vaporetto ride on the fascinating Grand Canal and a walking tour unveils such treasures as St Mark’s Square, Doges Palace and the Rialto Bridge. And who could leave Venice without an optional gondola ride? (B,D)

 

Day 13 Venice to Vienna, Austria

On to charming Vienna, home to opera, apple strudel and possibly Europe’s finest coffee. (B,L,D)

 

Day 14 Vienna

Time to explore Vienna. The impressive Hofburg Palace, the Opera House and the Schönbrunn Palace all await. (B,L)

 

Day 15 Vienna to Munich, Germany

A reflective start to our day as we visit the former concentration camp, Mauthausen. Then to Munich and a walking tour of the old city before a night out at a local beer hall. (B,L)

 

Day 16 Munich to Prague, Czech Republic

Our next city, Prague, is one of our favourites. Our walking tour amongst the cobblestone streets is a great introduction. (B,L,D)

 

Day 17 Prague

The day is ours to explore Prague with the evening free to try one of the many interesting restaurants. Prague also lays claim to some of the world’s finest beers. (B)

 

Day 18 Prague to Berlin, Germany

The 800 year old city of Dresden breaks our journey as we head to Berlin, one of Europe’s most happening cities. (B,L,D)

 

Day 19 Berlin

After orientating ourselves with Berlin including Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall and Brandenburg Gate, the city is ours to explore. The nightlife here is amazing. (B)

 

Day 20 Berlin to Amsterdam, Netherlands

To Amsterdam; famous for its canals and liberal lifestyle where we take a fascinating walking tour. (B,L)

 

Day 21 Amsterdam

Our bicycle tour this morning is a great introduction to Amsterdam. Tonight a farewell dinner and optional canal cruise. (B,D)

 

Day 22 Amsterdam to London

Back to London where it all started. (B)
