Day 1 Barcelona, Spain
We join our travelling companions in Spain’s most cosmopolitan city Barcelona. Our central city accommodation has us in the heart of the action.
Days 2-3 Barcelona to the French Riviera, France
To the home of the rich and famous so celebrity spotting is a given! If not at the promenades of Nice then surely at the casinos of Monte Carlo! (B,D) (B)
Days 4-5 French Riviera to Venice, Italy
Next stop Verona of Romeo and Juliet fame before we arrive in Venice. Our next day incorporates a vaporetto ride on the Grand Canal, a fascinating walking tour and an optional gondola ride is hard to resist. (B,D) (B,D)
Day 6 Venice to Florence
After Pisa it’s time for Florence, home of ‘David’, Tuscan cuisine, amazing art treasures and great shopping. (B,L,D)
Days 7-8 Florence to Rome
On arrival in Rome we enjoy a walking tour. The next day is ours to take in such attractions as the Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Roman Forum and Trevi Fountain as well as the Vatican City. (B) (B,D)
Days 9-10 Rome to Athens, Greece
Our overnight ferry brings us to Greece and then it’s on to Athens where we explore attractions both modern and ancient. (B,L) (D)
Days 11-13 Athens to Mykonos
3 nights on Greece’s most famous island. (B) (B,D) (B)
Day 14 Mykonos to Athens
Return ferry transfer back to Athens. (B)
Day 15 Athens
We farewell our travelling companions after breakfast. (B)
