Days 1-2 Berlin, Germany
Arrive at the hostel to meet our Trip Leader and fellow travellers, followed by a tour of ever-popular Berlin. (D) (B)
Days 3-4 Berlin to Copenhagen, Denmark
We move on to charming Copenhagen and home of the Little Mermaid. (B,L,D) (B)
Days 5-6 Copenhagen to Stockholm, Sweden
Past Hamlet’s Castle and on to Stockholm. Here design and culture make this city a vibrant and interesting place and we have plenty of free time to explore! (B,L,D) (B,L,D)
Days 7-8 Stockholm to Tallinn, Estonia
An overnight ferry across the Baltic has us disembarking in Tallinn. The old city walls and medieval buildings give it a storybook feel. (B)
Days 9-11 Tallinn to St Petersburg, Russia
Our first stop in Russia is magnificent St Petersburg. A city tour and Hermitage visit with a local guide gives great insights. (B,L,D) (B,D) (B)
Day 12 St Petersburg to Novgorod
Travel south to Novgorod. See beautiful old churches and try the Russian drink “Medovukha.” (B,L,D)
Days 13-15 Novgorod to Moscow
An interesting drive through the former communised farmlands to Moscow. Get acquainted with all the famous sights by way of our local Russian guide. (B,L,D) (B,D) (B)
Day 16 Moscow to Velikie Luki
From Moscow for an overnight stay in the town of Velikie Luki. (B,L,D)
Days 17-18 Velikie Luki to Riga, Latvia
Today we cross the border into Latvia and travel to Riga, on the Baltic Sea coast. (B,L,D) (B)
Day 19 Riga to Vilnius, Lithuania
Our next drive takes us to the multicultural city of Vilnius. A walk around the old town this evening will whet the appetite. (B,L)
Days 20-21 Vilnius to Warsaw, Poland
South to Warsaw. Visit the Old Jewish Quarter and Pawiak Prison during our free time. (B,D) (B)
Day 22 Warsaw to Berlin, Germany
Complete the full circle today on arrival in Berlin. Tonight a farewell dinner with our group. (B,L,D)
Day 23 Berlin
Our trip finishes after breakfast. (B)
