Itinerary

Day 1 - 2 London to Paris, France

Our Topdeck adventure begins in London, or you can join us in Paris. Cross the English Channel and continue to Paris for our spectacular city lights tour. Explore Paris by day and then enjoy our Gourmet Paris Picnic beside the Eiffel Tower. An optional River Seine cruise tonight or maybe a carbaret show?

Day 3 - 4 Paris to Swiss Alps, Switzerland

To the Swiss Alps and the village of Lauterbrunnen nestled beneath the mighty Jungfrau mountain. An optional adventure to the top of the Jungfrau provides unbelievable views.

Day 5 - 6 Swiss Alps to Florence, Italy

First stop, the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa before continuing to Florence. Tonight our first taste of mouth watering Tuscan cuisine. A walking tour of Florence the next day with a local Italian guide is full of interest. The shopping is brilliant and the restaurants legendary.

Day 7 - 8 Florence to Rome

The hilltop town of Orvieto provides a fascinating stop on our way to Rome. Our walking tour of Rome includes such highlights as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. The Vatican City is first up the next day including an optional visit to the Sistine Chapel. Then the day is free to explore the Eternal City.

Day 9 - 12 Rome to Flotilla Sailing, Greece

An overnight ferry crossing (cabin accommodation) to Greece. Now set sail in our 6 berth yachts on the Ionian Sea under the watchful eye of our flotilla skipper. Swim in stunning bays by day, dine with the locals in the tavernas by night.

Day 13 Plataria to Tirana, Albania

To Albania, once cut off from the western world. Our luxurious hotel in Tirana is sure to impress.

Day 14 - 15 Tirana to Dubrovnik, Croatia

We cross through Montenegro and the stunning coastal scenery surrounding Kotor Bay before reaching Dubrovnik. The next day is free to explore Dubrovnik, surely one of the world's most beautiful cities.

Day 16 Dubrovnik to Zadar

More stunning scenery as we make our way up the Dalmatian Coast. At journeys end another beauty, the walled city of Zadar.

Day 17 - 18 Zadar to Venice, Italy

Next stop, Slovenia and the Postojna Caves, then to the amazing city of Venice. The next day a fascinating walking tour, a vaporetto ride on the Grand Canal, an optional gondola ride, followed by a Venetian Pizza. Perfecto!

Day 19 Venice to Tyrol, Austria

The breathtaking scenery of the Tyrol awaits, with optional acitivities galore.

Day 20 Tyrol to Munich, Germany

On to the beerhalls of Munich!

Day 21 - 22 Munich to Prague, Czech Republic

The former Nazi Concentration Camp of Dachau provides a reflective start to the day. Then to the cobblestone streets of Prague and our walking tour. The next day is free to explore Prague.

Day 23 Prague to the Rhine Valley, Germany

To the beautiful Rhine Valley lined with castles. Tonight we get to stay in our own, dating back to the 12th century.

Day 24 - 25 Rhine Valley to Amsterdam, Netherlands

Time now to visit Amsterdam with its liberal lifestyle. Our bicycle tour is a great introduction to Amsterdam followed by a walking tour. On our last night there is a farewell dinner followed by an optional canal cruise.

Day 26 Amsterdam to London

Return to London with a chance to explore the Belgian city of Brugge en route.
