Itinerary

Days 1-2 Rome, Italy.

We meet our fellow travellers and Topdeck Crew this afternoon in the ‘Eternal City’ before enjoying a walking tour. There is also the chance to visit Vatican City and take a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. (D) (B)

 

Days 3-4 Rome to Venice, Italy.

We visit Verona, home of Romeo and Juliet, before heading to enchanting Venice. An optional gondola ride is the best way to see the city! (B,D) (B)

 

Days 5-6 Venice to Salzburg, Austria.

We head north to Austria and the quaint beauty of Salzburg, home of Mozart. There is even the chance to go skiing nearby. (B,D) (B)

 

Day 7 Salzburg to Vienna, Austria.

On to charming Vienna, capital of Austria and home to classical music, opera, delicious strudel and incredible coffee. (B)

 

Day 8 Vienna to Budapest, Hungary via Bratislava, Slovakia.

To Bratislava and our walking tour before we head east to romantic Budapest where a driving tour takes in the highlights. (B,D)

 

Day 9 Budapest.

A free day to explore. The cobbled streets of the Castle District are a great start. (B)

 

Day 10 Budapest to Krakow, Poland.

We pass through Slovakia to Krakow in Poland, which miraculously escaped major damage during World War II. The mysterious streets of the Old Town are full of charismatic pubs and restaurants. (B,D)

 

Day 11 Krakow.

A free day to wander through the mysterious streets of the Old Town. (B)

 

Days 12-13 Krakow to Prague, Czech Republic.

A sombre visit to the former concentration camp at Auschwitz before heading to the Czech Republic and its majestic capital, Prague. Gothic masterpieces such as the Castle District, the Tyn Church and Charles Bridge await. (B,D) (B)

 

Day 14 Prague to Berlin, Germany.

First stop is historic Dresden, then on to Germany’s incredible capital, Berlin. Divided for many years, it is now one of the most vibrant cities in Europe. (B,D)

 

Day 15 Berlin.

Today is free day to explore this historic city, stacked with amazing museums, fantastic shopping and great eateries. (B)

 

Days 16-17 Berlin to Amsterdam, Netherlands.

To the Netherlands and buzzing Amsterdam. Take an exclusive Topdeck bicycle tour. On the second evening, why not take an optional canal cruise following our farewell dinner. (B) (B,D)

 

Day 18 Amsterdam to London, England.

We travel to historic Brugge in Belgium before we head towards Calais for our return journey to London. (B)
