Itinerary

Map of Winter Waltz

Day 1 Prague, Czech Republic.

Our trip begins in one of our favourite cities – beautiful Prague. Our walking tour amongst the cobblestone streets is enthralling and takes in Hradcany Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. Tonight get acquainted with our fellow travellers at an included dinner. (D)

Day 2 Prague.

There is plenty of free time today to wander around the historic city centre and have lunch in one of the local cafés. Tonight why not sample some of Prague’s legendary nightlife? From thumping nightclubs to traditional beer halls, Prague has it all. For a quieter evening, head to one of Prague’s concert halls. (B)

Day 3 Prague to Berlin, Germany.

First stop is the 800 year old city of Dresden. Nearly destroyed during World War II, the city has re-emerged as a cultural and economic force. Then to the amazing city of Berlin. Once divided, this city is now one of Europe’s happening cities with an avant-garde arts scene and a brilliant nightlife. (B,D)

Day 4 Berlin.

Many years have now passed since the collapse of the Berlin Wall, once separating East from West Berlin. The many sights and museums help to give us an understanding of the history of the city. (B)

Day 5 Berlin to Amsterdam, Netherlands.

We depart Berlin for our final city – Amsterdam – the capital of the Netherlands. On our way into the city, we have the opportunity to watch cheese and traditional clog making demonstrations. (B)

Day 6 Amsterdam.

A great way to see Amsterdam is on a bicycle tour, which is available in the morning. Maybe see a different side of Amsterdam tonight by taking a trip through the canals on a canal cruise after our farewell dinner. (B,D)

Day 7 Amsterdam to London, England.

Leaving Amsterdam we travel to historic Brugge in Belgium. There is time here to sample the local chocolate before we head towards Calais for our return journey to London. (B)
