Itinerary

DAY 1 London to Amsterdam, Netherlands

Depart with us early this morning to head to our destination - Amsterdam! The capital of the Netherlands has so much to offer including amazing museums, delicious food and a world renowned night life – in short, one of the greatest cities in the world! This evening our expert Topdeck road crew will share with you the sights and sounds of one of Europe’s favourite destinations. Then why not join our optional pub crawl through Amsterdam’s famous Red Light District?

DAY 2 Amsterdam

The countdown begins! This morning you have plenty of free time to take in the abundant culture of Amsterdam, perhaps paying a visit to the Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh Museum… or even the Heineken Experience – it all depends on your own personal definition of ‘culture’!.

The celebrations begin this afternoon as New Years in the southern hemisphere is celebrated - welcome in 2012 as we watch a midnight fireworks display, and for those wishing to continue the party, the bars and clubs in Amsterdam will be heaving! (B)

DAY 3 Amsterdam 

Enjoy a well deserved sleep in as the day is yours to explore the city. Why not do as the locals do – hire a bike and cruise the streets or spend New Years day relaxing in a local café. Tonight our included canal cruise dinner gives us a different perspective on this great metropolis, before a final night out in Amsterdam to toast the memories of the past few days! (B, D)

DAY 4 Amsterdam to London, England 

Today we say our sad farewells to the Netherlands, heading to Calais to catch our ferry back to England, where the trip finishes this evening at the Clink hostel. Upon arrival back in London, we say our fond farewells to our Topdeck companions! (B)
