It is a good tour for some people, but I didn't like the fact that there were no day activities planned and a lot of the optional activities were cancelled.

There were no activities for the whole trip aside from one day. All other days were 'free' days where you just do your own exploring. I thought the whole point of booking a trip with Topdeck was so that the activities were planned for you? Also the activities that were available on that one day were super expensive (almost double the cost if you book it yourself). Our tour guide kept saying it's because they insure you if you get injured but I already have travel insurance and to book with Topdeck you must have travel insurance so that was obviously a lie. We ran into a Contiki group on Phi Phi Island and their itineary was full of activities. Our tour guide was fine and none of this is his fault. The real failure here is Topdeck as a company and lack of ability to offer a decent trip depite the large amount of money I paid. It would of been way cheaper if i had organised this holiday myself since all Topdeck offered was 'free' days anyways.

The tour was good, great sights to see. My room mate was horrible. I asked the tour guide if I could pay extra to have a single room however he did not want to make it seem like he was showing favourites by letting me do that. Sharing with someone I did not enjoy being around made my trip not so enjoyable. Other than that everything else was nice, it would've been good if we did more things together as a group, the tour guide could've been more enthusiastic about group events. Still enjoyed seeing parts of Thailand though.

The Thai Island Ko-Conut Hopper tour was an amazing experience! Thailand is such a beautiful place with incredible islands and doing the tour made it so much easier to get around. The places we visited each offered something unique and the people you meet on tour become lifelong friends. Our tour leader Tur, was incredible and helped us find things to do in our free days. Only down side would be the limited time on Phi Phi but overall, a great trip!
