I've done quite a few tours with different companies, including a previous Topdeck tour, but I was very disappointed with the Portugal Summer trip. While the trip leader and driver were amazing and did everything they could for us, the itinerary and inclusions were not value for money. I booked a Topdeck trip expecting there to be a big group (especially given I booked late and had to wait to see if there was room available), but there were only six of us on the trip. I could have had that sort of vibe staying in a hostel, and it would have been a lot more cost effective than this trip. There was a Busabout trip on at the same time for the same amount of money, but it had five more nights and went throughout Spain as well. I wish I'd booked it instead.

There should have been other optionals available in Ericeira, and suggest one less night there and one more in Lagos instead. In general there was a bit too much chill time.

Portugal Surfari was well priced - really feel that it is wonderful that Top Deck offers additional discounts and perks (10% off if you purchase 6 months in advance, 5 % for returning clients, 5 % is you purchase multiple excursions).

Some of the accommodation bookings were not the best however. Would also have liked to spend more time at the surf camp

The trip was fun and what the description said - relaxing time exploring Portugal and learning to surf. The trip was different to thypical Topdeck as it had a more relaxed vibe and smaller group with worked well with the activities we undertook. If I was to change anything I would go straight up the Portuguese coast on the first day then end with a night in Lisbon.
