Amazing trip! We had a small group of only 17, which was a perfect size. Our trip leader, Diarmaid, was also full of great tips and suggestions of things to do. Russia was definitely a highlight, and just awesome to experience in winter.

Absolutely fantastic way to get a taste of St. Petersburg’s and Moscow! Estonia and Finland were added bonuses! I really appreciated the freedom that topdeck allows with exploring cities but also encouraging everyone to get together and make memories.

The trip its self was really fun. The only bad thing was after a 9 hour drive we would have to get back onto the coach for a three hour bus tour. This happened on two days and it's extremely tiriring, most people fell asleep. Using local guides (like for the metro tour and walking tours) was a really great idea because they gave you a real understanding of the culture. There was also a massive age gap between me and 3 girls and the majority of the group so they fact they roomed the younger ones together really helped (I'm not sure if it was by chance or not). Age gaps normally aren't a problem but unfortunatly it was this time.
Our tour guide Biana was really kind, looking out for everyone even when some members of the tour were behaving unhelpfully). She was very insightful and always kept a smile on her face. I would love for her to be my tour guide again.

This tour was great but very fast and could’ve spent longer in Helsinki, Finland having more of a look around and also Tallin, Estonia needed longer too but had plenty of time in Russia which was the main thing.

Good itinerary. However in Moscow I would have like to have seen more Russian things t m rather than Italian built churches, I'm sure the country has more to offer.
