Or see what all the fuss is about when it comes to German food on an afternoon food tour. Treats that slap? Kebabs, pastries, currywurst, pierogi and sausages (obvs). The rest of the afternoon is 100% up to you. Wanna see Viennese music in action? Stupid question. There’s a sick opportunity to watch the orchestra. Not just watch, but FEEL. Y’know how music can bring a tear to your eye? Get those tissues ready, cos you’re about to blubber. Want other dinner plans? Quench your thirst for history at some of the best museums in Europe (no cap). Hunt down Italian shrimp for the classic Venetian dish: scampi alla veneziana. Get lost. Find yourself. Then, grab a S.Pellegrino at a local bar and watch the world go by. Fun, free and sometimes juicy revelations can be seen on these streets. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the tour guide and the driver. They were both friendly, knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable and safe during the entire trip. However, what made me really dislike Topdeck were the accommodations and the suggested activities in Vienna and Switzerland. The hostel were awful in both places and the food. I threw up after eating at the restaurant in...

Where do I start?

The optional stuff? 10/10 - so many recommendations from our amazing trip leader that it felt so easy to make a decision on where to go.
The vibes? 10/10 - amazing people, amazing crew, great way to make friends, excellent way to feel safe when seeing Europe for the first time and best possible way to get around. Loved that at any point during the trip, you could always strike...

I had the best time! The Top Deck team were amazing and so knowledgeable. I love that they kept the groups small-ish so we had an even better time bonding and getting to know each other. Will absolutely be booking with Top Deck again!

Mackenzie Wi October 2024

Was an amazing way to see so much of Europe in a short period of time. The group was a nice small number so we were all able to get to know each other really well and our tour guide Yassin was personable and went above to make our experience memorable. Only downside was I wish we had more time in each place!

5

Anonymous October 2024

Would 100% do another (topdeck) tour again. The people I met were amazing we all got along really well which made the trip so much better. The tour guide was fun and easy to talk too! He went out of his way to make sure we all felt included.

-too much driving for the amount of time in each city. Need to drop a city or make the tour linnet to spend more time in specific cities.
-driver and tour guide were both very good
-good accommodations

Every single thing had been thought of - maximising our time in each country. Very quick way to have a glimpse of Europe. Although the bus made for some long days - always something happening!
Great trip leader and bus driver to help. The add on trips and extra recommendations from the staff were amazing, once in a life time experiences! :)

Would have liked to spend a bit more time in some places. Also some of the accommodations were not very nice.

5

Is great if you want a quick holiday away and is a great way to see some hot spots in Europe. Is very quick paced though, so not for ones that want a relaxing trip

5

Trip was what I was after a quick trip dotting around the place to get a feel for each country so I can target my future trips while still enjoying my time with everyone on the trip and making friendships

Just all round an amazing trip. The places. The people. Nicole and Daniel as trip leader and driver made it just so special. I had just turned 18 and was solo and there was not one time I felt scared unsafe or alone. Absolutely the perfect trip. Cant rate high enough!!

Feel like I definitely got my moneys worth in terms of hostels stayed at and amount of cities went to.

5

Anonymous August 2022

Excellent way to get a taste of Europe. Some hostels were not the best and some were quite far from the main city centre, but other than that amazing tour!

5

Luke August 2022

A fast-paced but extremely enjoyable and sight-filled trip. An exceptional variety of locations, from the Eiffel Tower in Paris to the snowy Alps in Switzerland, gondola rides in Venice, the Hofbrauhaus in Germany, and bike tours in Amsterdam. Our trip was packed with amazing experiences and people, perfect for a first-time traveler!

5

Anonymous February 2019

Though I would have enjoyed more time in each of the locations, the trip was a good (if fast) exploration of those countries.

Many of the places we stayed were below average standard, 8 people in bunk beds in a room. Some had no power and no hot water (Switzerland was the worst for this). It was a hostel tour, but there are standards that you expect. Disappointed with the accommodations. Generator in Paris was amazing at least! USB ports on the bus were awesome, as you spend almost the entire trip on the bus. The add on...

5

I would definitely buy a Topdeck tour again. When I did this trip I was 18, had never travelled abroad without family. Topdeck is a brilliant way to travel 'alone' but still give you that safety net. The coaches were really comfortable, everyone goes on the trip intending to get along. You get a synopsis of where you're going from your tour leader and some optional activities. This gives you an...

I got a discounted price for my ticket. It was worth the price for all the places we stayed and the amount of included meals. Optional extras, I am still on the fence about. The only one that I really thought was worth my money was the bike tour in Paris.
