Paris after dark: tonight’s included dinner is your first taste of French flavour – think crusty baguettes, oozy cheese, and maybe a cheeky glass of vin rouge. Then we’ll drift along the Seine on a night-time river cruise, the city’s grand monuments all lit up and glittering. From the Eiffel Tower’s sparkle to the soft glow of Notre Dame, it’s the perfect Parisian goodnight. 

Hallo, Amsterdam, 

Canal calling: roll into Amsterdam in style, stepping off the Eurostar at Centraal Station and straight into postcard territory – gabled houses, glinting water and bikes everywhere you look. Check in, drop your bags and get ready to see the city from a whole new angle. 

Evening feast: tonight’s dinner is included, so you can fuel up on hearty Dutch flavours – think fries loaded with satay sauce and stroopwafel-level sweetness before we take to the water. 

Night lights:  climb aboard for a canal cruise through Amsterdam’s maze of waterways – worlds away from last night’s Seine soirée. Here, the bridges are lower, the houseboats homier, and the charm just as irresistible. Watch the city light up as you glide past twinkling windows and gently rocking boats. 

Saddle up, Amsterdam. 

Two wheels, one city: hop on your bike and join a local guide for a spin through Amsterdam’s prettiest streets and canals. You’ll roll past crooked houses, flower-decked bridges and locals who somehow cycle while carrying three shopping bags and a coffee. 

Market magic: we’ll finish up at Albert Cuyp Market, where the air smells like fried fish and sweet cinnamon buns. Your trip leader will be on snack duty – there’ll be briny herring for the bold, crispy golden kibbeling (battered chunks of fish), a cheese tasting to remember and pillowy poffertjes (that’s Dutch pancakes to those not in the know) dusted with sugar.  

Choose your own adventure: the afternoon’s yours to roam free – or sweeten things up with an optional stroopwafel-making class, because what’s Amsterdam without its syrupy, chewy signature snack? Go big on culture at the Rijksmuseum, Moco Museum or Van Gogh Museum, or follow your stomach to the indoor foodie wonderland of the Foodhallen. Whether you’re wandering solo or indulging your sweet tooth with new-found friends, this city’s charm is impossible to shake. 

From canals to couchettes.  

Free to roam: spend your day soaking up Amsterdam however you like – perhaps wander through Jordaan’s narrow streets lined with quirky boutiques and cosy cafés, hunt down a perfect cup of Dutch coffee or lose yourself along the canal rings where houseboats and street art compete for your attention. Fancy a change of scene? Hop on an e-bike for a breezy ride through the tulip-speckled countryside, because windmills and wide-open skies are never a bad idea. Don’t miss a pit stop at a buzzing brown café for something sweet or some bitterballen (Holland’s answer to meatballs) to fuel your travels. 

Overnight magic: tonight, slip into your couchette for an overnight train adventure – think of it as a fun, rolling sleepover. Wake up refreshed in Switzerland, ready to explore Basel and beyond.

Dinner delight: come together in the evening over a hearty Swiss feast – there’ll be melted cheese, rustic breads and maybe a splash of something to keep the alpine chill at bay. Plenty of laughs guaranteed as you swap stories in a snug, mountain lodge setting.

Alpine freedom: today, you’re free to explore the stunning Swiss Alps at your own pace, spend your day exploring chocolate-box alpine villages, hiking serene trails, or simply soaking up the mountain magic. 

Sky-high thrills: for the daredevils among us, there’s an optional helicopter skydive or a scenic glacier helicopter ride over the breathtaking peaks; guaranteed to offer views and adrenaline like no other. Or take the classic Jungfrau excursion from Lauterbrunnen – a journey through waterfalls, valleys and snow-capped mountains that feels like stepping into something cinematic. 

From Alps to aperitivo.

Rome bites and sights. 

Say bonjourno to the Eternal City: Rome means stepping into a city where every corner tells a story and every street smells like fresh pizza. After checking in, join a welcome walk to get your bearings — expect narrow alleys, buzzing piazzas, and plenty of stops to nibble on authentic pizza slices and creamy gelato. 

History has never tasted so good: stroll past ancient ruins, majestic fountains, and the iconic Colosseum while sampling bites that bring the flavours of Rome to life. From gladiators to gelato, every stop serves up a slice of the city’s culinary spirit. 

Evening unwind: as the sun dips, settle into the city’s evening rhythm with dinner on us – think rustic dishes paired with lively chatter and a glass (or two) of something Italian. It’s the perfect way to toast your first night in the Eternal City. 

A Roman rendezvous. 

Wander at will: today’s a free day to dive into Rome however you like. Whether it’s ancient ruins, creamy gelato, or pretty piazzas calling your name, the Eternal City never disappoints. 

Make it yours: if you’re feeling adventurous, join the optional Colosseum tour to stand inside one of Rome’s most iconic landmarks. Keen to see more of Rome? Toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain for luck, climb the Spanish Steps for the view, step inside the Pantheon’s cool shade, or roam the Roman Forum’s ruins – just expect some crowds at these popular spots.  

Dinner with flair: tonight, roll up your sleeves for a traditional cooking class where you’ll master classic Roman recipes before sitting down to feast with your fellow travellers. The best part? It's on the house. Buon appetito!

Choose your path: today’s all about following your own Roman rhythm. Maybe you’ll marvel at the Vatican’s masterpieces and vast museums, or lose yourself under St. Peter’s sky-high dome and in the square where popes wave and pigeons rule the cobblestones. 

Taste of Trastevere: if food’s your love language, head to the vibrant Trastevere neighbourhood for a guided food and wine tour. Sample local cheeses, creamy tiramisus and classic dishes while wandering storied streets full of character and charm. 

Later, your way: whatever you pick, wrap up your day with a leisurely stroll through moonlit piazzas with your favourite gelato – Rome knows how to keep the magic going long after sunset.

Stroll and soak: after zooming in on the high-speed train from Rome, slip into your comfiest shoes and wander Florence’s winding streets with your local guide, diving into stories of art, history and Renaissance flair that cling to every corner.

Alternatively, lose yourself among the sculptures of Piazza della Signoria where marble and bronze tell stories of power, passion and a little Italiante drama. Monaco moments: after a short jaunt with your Trip Leader, you’ll step into the glamorous world of the rich and famous. Explore the yacht-dotted harbour, see luxury cars glide by and enjoy a guided stroll through Monaco’s compact splendour. Drop by the iconic casino, stroll past the Royal Palace, and bask in the timeless elegance that makes Monaco so unforgettable. 

Evening your way: take a relaxed walk along the Promenade des Anglais as the sun sinks low, bathing the sea in golden light.
